A lot of people like raising rare and unusual animals as pets, for instance, lizards, pythons, big cats, porcupines, squirrels, etc. Generally speaking, exotic pets are wild animals and animals that are not domesticated yet. I’ve never had any exotic pets, although my pet insurance count my Guinea pigs as exotic 
my dad looks after a load of different birds, that’s about as interesting as it gets for me.
I don’t think I’d have the time or effort to raise an exotic animal, it’s expensive and time consuming enough looking after Guinea pigs!

Many people have exotic pets and they unfortunately don't know how to take care of them properly. For example, Rabbits are considered exotic pets and people tend to buy them for kids especially around Easter and they don't properly take care of them. I've only had hamsters and a guinea pig as a kid, those are the only exotic pets I had growing up. Axolotls are pretty cool creatures, and I love hedgehogs but I don't think I'd have the time to take care of either one. Plus I hate insects and Axolotls and hedgehogs eat bugs.
I used too! I had a Leopard Gecko. His name was Chomper (named after the lil rex in Land Before Time).
They are pretty cute yea. However you can't really interact with them as well as you can with other animals, since axolotls have to stay underwater and can't really be above water for long.

I'd like to have a tiger as well. But I'm way too busy to have a pet at all. Either that or a shoulder pet of some sort, like a raptor or little critter would be nice.
Tigers would be an interesting pet, would likely need to raise it from a newborn.
What about a Dimorphodon?
