Video game championships are now the most-watched sporting events on the planet.

Do you consider them sports?
 
I personally don't, since I don't watch any regular sports (at all). Racing would probably be the only IRL sport I would watch. I love survival games, and not so much sports games or Battle Royales. I stick with a few games and basically keep with those and don't really expand outside a specific niche too often (dino games or monster hunter/etc).
 
I play video games, however, I have never participated in tournaments and never watched tournaments. I think video games can be included as sports. In fact, the current Asian games that are ongoing in China have included 8 games in the esports category.

Yea, I enjoy casual gameplay, but I do not do competitive or tournaments. I prefer to chillax with friends, ya know?
