making macaroni and cheese
I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Sounds like you have great support and a good teacher already.I've actually never tried to cook. xD I've only helped my spouse out by stirring the pot when we were making macaroni and cheese as a side dish for dinner once. I really do wan to learn how to cook, we need to still set up our toaster oven as we don't actually have a oven in our living space. I suppose we could use the oven upstairs though.
Yea, I don't make pastas from scratch, but I can put together recipes otherwise.I know how to cook and I think I am a good cook. I am good at cooking local dishes such as rice and lentils, chicken dumplings, as well as Indian dishes such as Chicken Butter Masala, Naan, Biryani, etc. I am not good at making pasta and pizza but I know how to cook these items.
The best part of cooking OR baking! My favorite part of cooking is when its done and I get to eat!

That is true. One of my favorite cookies is "Unbaked Cookies" - Chocolate, peanut butter, oatmeal primarily. Set on counter for an hr, then you got cookies just by boiling on a cooktop, no oven needed. My favorite part of cooking is when its done and I get to eat!
Baking is more like science, you have to follow the recipe exactly and cook time exactly. Not much room for doing your own thing, like in cooking.
We highly recommend you post an introduction so we can get to know you a little better!
