Acrocanthosaurus: How It Used Stealth and Strength to Hunt in the Cretaceous

During the Early Cretaceous period, around 113 million years ago, the Acrocanthosaurus was a dominant predator known for its unique blend of stealth, strength, and adaptive hunting strategies.   Stealth: The Silent Stalker Acrocanthosaurus was a huge dinosaur, measuring up to 38 feet long and weighing about 6 tons. Spinosaurus: Amazing fish-eating predator of Early Cretaceous

It got most of its "fame" from the third Jurassic Park movie and various books over the decades. At least, that's when the public started knowing more about it. It lived in the early Cretaceous, whereas the T-Rex lived in the Late Cretaceous. They very likely never met, as it was a very long period of time between them.

It would mostly eat fish, and other meat if needed.   It grew to approximately 11m long on average and weighed about 2.5 - 3.8 tons. Since the Sucho is a newer spinosaurid, we do not know as much about the Suchomimus compared to the Spinosa
